BJ Capital Management, a management group headed by Bennett Wo and Jason Lau, specializes in alternative investments including private equity and real estate. We seek to provide our investors with superior absolute returns along with diversification. Our offices are in Honolulu, Hawaii.

BJM Partners Fund, formed in 2004, invests in start-up, emerging and established companies with a preference for Hawaii-based companies.

BJM Properties, 2005, invests in real estate on Oahu and the Neighbor Islands, focusing on prime developments near the ocean or oceanfront.

Wo Private Equity Fund, 2005, is a fund of funds that invests globally in private equity. It is heavily weighted in the nanotechnology sector.

Bennett Wo
Bennett Wo is a founding partner of BJ Capital Management, BJM Partners, BJM Properties, and the Wo Private Equity Fund IV. He is also a Vice President of C.S. Wo & Sons, Ltd where his responsibilities include asset management, alternative investments, and internet applications.

Bennett sits on the board of directors of the UH Angels, Hawaii Venture Capital Association, Hawaii Venture Group, Pacific Venture Capital, Hawaii Economic Development Corp, Punahou Alumni Association, and the Hawaii International Film Festival.

He graduated from Punahou School, and earned degrees in engineering from Stanford University and an MBA from the UCLA Anderson Graduate School of Business.

Jason K. Lau
Born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii, Jason Lau is a product of Punahou School and the University of California, Los Angeles, and has worked in the financial industry for such companies as Dean Witter Reynolds and Bank of Hawaii.

He is a founding partner of BJ Capital Management, BJM Partners, BJM Properties, and the Wo Private Equity Fund IV. He is also the Managing Partner of Lau Enterprises, a Hawaii investment partnership, and TalkStory Productions, a Hawaii based film and TV production company.

He is on the board of directors of UH Angels, an angel investment group, Hawaii Venture Capital Association (HVCA), and the Hawaii International Film Festival (HIFF).
